In 2001, the Washington Sports Foundation was founded as a 501(c)(3) by former Eagles football coach and teacher, Jim Ruane. On Jim’s passing, Tony Ribera took over as the administrator of the foundation. The goal of the foundation is to provide financial support to Washington’s athletic programs.
Our core committee includes Rob Fung, Brian and Jen Jesson, Tony Ribera, Eric Sun, Tommy Mora, Erin Grogan, Mike Gridley, and Ben Winslow, most of whom are Washington graduates.
